I have a new client which might be very interesting. The idea they have seems to be very social in concept and should end up growing. When I’m looking into it the site looks more and more like social media site similar to what facebook was at the start.
So if you had the chance to see facebook at the start, and understand where it would go, how would you do the marketing?

Word-of-mouth is the best way in the beginning. How many people do you know asked you, "Are you on Facebook?" before you actually joined. It’s all about inviting people to join, so they can invite more people to join.
1) Send an e-invite to people within the specified market requesting that they join
2) Ask a sampling of the market to try out the site for one week and report on it
